I am looking forward to the release of my third book. I will have to create a special post on how this book was created. It was a labor of love and the book is packed with detail.
I'm always sketching or painting and sometimes little creatures emerge in the process. I thought this little guy was funny.
Stumbled on this earlier this week. Pretty cool! :)
The snow came down hard and aside from some shoveling, I spent the day being creative. Forever inspired by old brick buildings, I decided to break out the watercolors and have some fun. These are just a few...
Finally made it to the new Whitney the other day. What a great place! Aside from all the art, I think my favorite things were all the balconies with sweeping views of Manhattan, the Hudson and the Meatpacking district below. Here are some photos of these, as well as some shots inside. Lots of multimedia pieces and even an odd, hyperrealistic model of an old woman with her dog. So real looking it was hard to believe it wasn't someone just taking a break in the gallery.
Oh! I also met a character out on the balcony who called himself "The Mayor of Meatpacking". What a fun man! I loved his hat. Google him! :)
