It feels as though Spring is much later this year. I took a walk in the park and only a handful of cherry blossoms were in full bloom. But so gorgeous! The tulips and daffodils too. I laughed when I saw this bunny face dangling from a branch. I’m sure some kid lost in on Easter.
Cherry Blossoms!
We went to visit Branch Brook park this week to see all the spring splendor! It was insanely beautiful and each curve in the road yielded a prettier view. I always wish it could just last a little bit longer…
beautiful spring!
My walks get more beautiful each day. We have had a lot of rain in the past three weeks but it has resulted in one of the most lush seasons ever! The colors are gorgeous and it is amazing to see how fast the trees have filled in. I’ve put together a little montage here of some of the most amazing blooms. Enjoy! :)
Spring still comes...
What a crazy time this has been. I’ve been quarantined for over two weeks, the country is deep in crisis mode with the Coronavirus, every non-essential business is shut down and it really feels like the end of the world. NYC is currently the epicenter of the virus, with NJ not far behind. (We are only 12 miles apart here). Besides constantly creating and chipping away at work projects, my daily walks have (as always) provided me with much stress relief and beauty. I feel anxiety the minute I turn on the news. People are fighting for their lives and to make it worse, they are without family or friends in the hospital. Cuomo is a bright light in all of this and his compassion has warmed my heart on the darkest of days. I am still afraid to go to any grocery stores so my outings are usually my solo walks. It’s always a treat to watch Spring unfold each year and this year more than ever. So here are some pics to hopefully brighten your day too!
rainy day in NYC
Spent a very inspiring day in NYC last week. There’s something about a rainy day that gets my creativity rolling. I like to look at the reflections on the street. Headed over to Pier 90 to see an art show. Meant to grab a shot of the Intrepid. So big! But it was pouring and windy.
