Kristine started her career in advertising and promotions-working on everything from Pepsi and ConAgra to Orbitz and Tanqueray. In 2003 she left agency life to pursue both design and illustration-working with publishers, event planners, magazines, PR firms, corporate clients and gift/retail . She absolutely loves what she does and added author to her title with the debut of her first picture book "Lovey Bunny" in Spring 2015 (Abrams) -now releasing as a board book later this year. It's been translated in Chinese and Korean. Her second book "The Grumpy Pets" received a glowing New York Times review and was just named a "Children's Choice" selection by the International Literacy Association. The book has since been translated in Romanian, Chinese and Japanese. Kristine's third book "Mr. Biddles" released in August 2017. (Harper Collins)
Kristine also teaches illustration classes at the Montclair Art Museum and has recently signed with a licensing agency, where her artwork will eventually find its way onto all sorts of fun consumer products-another creative pursuit she has worked toward since taking an inspiring class in NYC years back. Always creating, Kristine posts work-in-progress and colorful illustrations daily on her Instagram account. (you should follow her!)
She is a member of SCBWI, CBIG and The Author's Guild.
