After all these years I finally went! What a great place. Since 1913! I sampled oysters from all over and learned I preferred the salty & briny to the sweet. It was a scorching hot day in NYC so what better way to enjoy ducking away from the heat than with fresh seafood and a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc with a friend? :)
summer camp
Taught a few weeks of storytelling and comic book art at The Montclair Art Museum. The kids were so sweet even though I lost 80% of my hearing. lol So cool to see their creativity unfold. Lots of great ideas and stories and TONS of giggles. :) Sushi pic is from another instructor but thought it was such a great ceramics project!

Summer lovin'-part one
Summer rocks! I practically live outside. Ask the squirrels! I've been enjoying plein air painting in the gardens in my town, going to the pool, writing, reading lots of books, beaching it, outdoor concerts and laughing with my friends. ( they rock too! ) Hope all of you are enjoying your summer as well!!!
MAM Art Truck!
So one of my part time gigs is teaching at the local art museum and yesterday I did an event at the Montclair Public Library where we made a craft project on the plaza. My friend Bruce drove the MAM Art truck but it was only when we were leaving that it dawned on me that this was a converted ice cream truck!!!!!! We drove through the streets with that classic chiming music playing and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Want a Fudgesicle© kiddo? Sorry, only art supplies!
