The wonders of Thomas Edison...

My friend Yuko and I visited the Thomas Edison National Historic Park over the weekend. I had driven by it countless times in the past and always wanted to see it. It was pouring rain which made the place seem even more wondrous somehow. We were both completely awestruck by this man’s ingenuity and prolific career. The labs were like time travel and I fell in love with all of the gorgeous wood inside, the intricate pulleys and machines, the old office equipment and ledgers on his desk, the gigantic windows and that incredible, three-story library! To be able to roam around this piece of history was incredible. It was an experience I won’t ever forget. If you live near, or plan to visit NJ, you must go!
